Katie and Gen McCaffrey this morning on Today...
When Ms. Couric asked him about sending more troops to Iraq to put down the insurgents, he basically said we don't have anyone else able to go, that we've spent our muscle already. Did anyone else hear that?

It sounded like they stopped short of saying Bush has weakened our military by wearing them out.

1. I haven't watched the Today show for months. Are the doing news?
It seemed the last time I caught the show they were focused on weddings, weight loss, and where the hell is Matt crap.

2. Perfect time for N. Korea to "reunite" the Korean peninsula
Or China to reclaim Taiwan. Or (insert your own nightmare scenario in this space).

3. Overthrow our own fascist govt.
or someone to invade America...we'd be fighting in the streets but first we'd have to wait three days to get a permit to own a gun.

4. Where are the young Republicans?
Why aren't they clogging our recruitment booths? Surely it's not because they're gutless hypocrites.

5. It's Clinton's fault for reducing the military......
during a time of PEACE. Now we don't have enough troops to invade a sovereign nation that was of no threat to us. Bill Clinton should have KNOWN that the Republicans and their cultish supporters would want to occupy an Arab country and kept enough people to do so.

And another thing. If O'Neil is right and the administration wanted to go into Iraq in January of 2001, they had TWO YEARS to build up the military for their evil machinations.

There are some 1.7 million members of the U.S. military and we send 130,000 to Iraq; nearly half of which are now NG and Reserves and it's CLINTON'S fault.

6. Blame Clinton-always.
This has become the hallmark of Republican desperation, instead of throwing fist, they throw out the "blame Clinton" for all our woes..then I say, let Clinton fix his own mistakes, put him back in office! If Bush isn't responsible for anything, why is he there?
