Nader is calling for Bush to be impeached
Kerry should jump on the bandwagon and lead the effort. Put Bush on the ultimate defensive. Right now!

CHICAGO (AP) -- Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader called Tuesday for President Bush to be impeached for ``deceiving the American people night after night after night'' about U.S. involvement in Iraq.

``When you plunge our country into war on a platform of fabrications and deceptions, and you bring back thousands of American soldiers who are sick, injured or dead, and that war is unconstitutionally authorized to begin with, Mr. Bush's behavior qualifies for the high crimes and misdemeanor impeachment clause of the Constitution,'' the 2000 Green Party presidential nominee said to applause from about 200 students at Columbia College Chicago.

Nader said President Clinton was impeached for ``far less of an offense.''

``Lying under oath is not a trivial offense, but it cannot compare with deceiving the American people night after night after night on national television, staging untruths and rejecting the advice of his advisers,'' he said.

Merrill Smith, a spokeswoman for Bush's re-election campaign, declined to comment.

Criminal charges against his whole mis-administration.

3. Make up his feeble mind. Does he want to help Bush back in the WH again,
or does he want Bush to be impeached. He can't have it both ways.

4. He's already announced. . .
. . . that he's only running in "safe states" so he won't upset the vote. And frankly, he (along with Dean and Kennedy) have been the only politicians on the attack in this election. Kerry has been distancing himself from anyone who says anything remotely critical of Bush.

If Kerry cannot deliver on pointing out Bush's hypocrisy, we need SOMEONE (or preferably several someones) who will. If it's Nader, so be it.

8. No, why is he trying to get on the ballot in Oregon. He nearly cost Gore
Oregon also. 5000 votes! was all Gore won by. He bashed both parties and recylced his 2000 theme in Washington state yesterday. it was attened by these idiot socialist types. Even the Greens are staying away.

6. Maybe Nader has a cause to defend again
Got to admit he was great in the early days when he actually had a cause to rally around. I certainly can do without the Ego fueled aspirations that led to his demise of the Democratic party 4 years ago, but for now I am pleased with his bold statements

9. Its not Bold. What does he have to lose? If Kerry were to call for Bush
to be impeached - he would lose big time. Bush would be President again, it would go nowhere, because Republicans control the House and Senate. They would talk about how Kerry is trying to weaken our resolve and divide the country while we are at war. Once again Nader is dealing with the impossible. His rhetoric is very immature, sounds like someone who just became involved in politics 6 months ago. I think he may be getting senile. If I had my way Bush would be impeached, but this is a cover for Nader, a shield he thinks he can use, so he cannot be accused of helping Bush, which he is doing once again.

11. If he keeps saying the "impeach" word....
it should help dry up all those campaign
contributions coming from repugs who were
hoping Nadar would help keep AWOL in the WH.
