CNN "Iraqi Bodies are being stacked up like cord wood"
Edited on Wed Apr-07-04 06:25 AM by seventhson
"It is nothing short of a rout" in Fallujah

(I don't believe the "rout" part either -- the fighting is fierce and the battles are expanding)

This was the opening statement on CNN's Morning Show.

There is no cite for it and no link : Just the LBN as they are telling it on CNN.

It turned my stomach to hear these words said with such glee.

This is an illegal and immoral war in my opinion.

I support our troops and want them home. Now.

For the sake of humanity, for the ske of the humanity of our troops , and for the sake of the Iraqis. This war is evil and it is making us evil as well.

Hans Blix apparently said the Iraqis were better off under Saddam.

I think this story today is a coverup for the fact that OUR troops are probably also being stacked up like cordwood as well. 30 dead Americans I heard last night.

The whole thing sickens me.

1. Oh, sure, more violence will help
'fraid not, Bushco. Reason and treatment of those with grievences with dignity will, however. Some things are too simple, too readily apparent to be on the radar of the RepubliCONS.

2. This is what I feared would happen
which is one of the many reasons I protested this illegal and immoral war. I'm not a genius and yet this outcome was clear to me, given the hot air and arrogant assurances from the neocons last year. And I only fear it will get worse.

8. The NAZI's completely eradicated a whole village
as a reprisal for the murder of an SS Officer (Heydrich).

This is the same thing.

This is not a police action... it is pure revenge-- nothing more.

We are not there to arrest people, we are there to stack up the bodies.

6. Hi seventhson
In an effort to keep LBN streamlined because of the fluid situation in Iraq, I'm going to move this to GD. If you have hard #'s, please post them in this thread:

Falluja engulfed in fighting

Wednesday 07 April 2004

Fierce street battles are raging in Falluja between resistance fighters defending the town and US occupation forces, who are launching missile attacks in and around residential areas.

At least 52 Iraqis have died in attacks since Tuesday in the besieged town which American forces completely sealed off on Sunday, according to hospital sources reported Aljazeera's correspondent Ahmad Mansur. More than 100 others, including children, have been injured.

Twenty-six of those killed were from one family.

<snip>

"They are attacking residential neighbourhoods," he said as US warplanes swooped over the area and fired rockets. Intense gunfire could be heard from the streets.

11. Sounds like the Israeli actions in Jenin, Palestine...
...the following link contains EXTREMELY GRAPHIC photos that are probably very similar to what is happening to the people of Fallujah as well as some of our own troops.

Satellite imagery...

13. Is this a "Major Combat Operation"
Or are we still in just combat operations? Or, maybe we can say combat operations in one place and list it as major combat elsewhere?

14. No It is the Preparation of the faggots for the revenge funeral pyre
Faggots in the literal sense not the gay sense (please look this up before deleting - the word faggot literally means kindling for a fire, okay?)

This appears to be genocide at this point.

Revenge killings of civilians is a war crime and, in a case like this, amoiunts to genocide.

Forget Impeachment. War Crimes Tribunal for BushCo.

15. And the other usage of the word developed
because of the quaint custom of throwing a few gays on the bonfire as long as you were having one anyway to burn a heretic or witch. No point in wasting a good fire, eh?

18. One Of The Freepers Was Gleeful About The Stacked Bodies!!
And also said that for every 1 American we should make sure we kill 500 Iraqis. This was on the "debate" thread that was posted here last night...

I am convinced that this is the true opinion of most of the liberators!!
