Television Harms Children's Brains
Anyone with young children may want to keep them away from the electronic baby-sitter.

Infants weaned on TV 'cannot concentrate'

The Guardian
Children under two should not watch television because it increases the risk of them developing attention deficit disorder, a US scientific report argued yesterday.

Watching too much television increased the child's likelihood of being unable to pay attention in school, and each hour a day in front of the TV increased by 10% the chance that the child would show signs of the disorder, the study found.

2. TV harms adult brains too.
I have long suspected the link between TV and the ADD problems we in America have.

6. DUH !!!
My friends laughed at me, but I never let my kids watch Sesame Street when they were tiny.. They liked Mr Rogers (and so did I).. Later , when they were allowed to watch the other shows, I could tell by their rowdiness, which shows they had watched..

Our faves were

Electric Company
3,2,1, Contact
Mr Rogers
Big Blue Marble

Do those shows even air anymore?? Too bad if they don't..
