Question re # of mercenaries, # of coalition troops
I've read here at DU that there are 15,000 mercenaries hired by the U.S. in Iraq.

If I remember correctly, the U.K.'s got about 7000, Poland about 2000, Spain about 1300, and below that level the numbers are mainly in the low hundreds or even below 100 for other coalition countries.

If all of this is correct, doesn't that mean that there are more mercenaries in Iraq than non-U.S. coalition members?

1. That is what the math says.
These guys are protecting the companies over there not our guys. More upset over the four guy that went willingly than our guys.
