Bush is in CRAWFORD this week???
That's what it says at the bottom of WashPost's daily summary of WH stories.

He's on vacation this week??

What??? Now he goes to Crawford but doesn't allow any reporters to film from there so the people don't know he's on vacation?

Did ANYONE here know he was in Crawford this week?

"Bush travels from his ranch in Crawford to El Dorado, Ark., today to have another one of his talks about the economy, then zips back to Crawford where he's spending the week."

2. I think he's in hiding during Condi's appearance at the 09/11 commission.
The timing is a bit coincidental.

Didn't daddy go off to play golf while the first Gulf War commenced? You wouldn't expect smirk to cancel his vacation just because over 20 troops were killed and what looks to be a major offensive has begun in Iraq??? Mind you, this is the same pResident that was in the residence at 10:30 a.m. when a man began firing at the WH back in 2001. He's the pResident of leisure and wealth.....

9. Can you imagine if Clinton took a vacation
Right after our soldiers were killed in Mogadishu? The press would have had a field day!

13. I know
Everybody that has been on the job for 3 years gets at least 1 week a month vacation and a whole month off each summer, right? Very connected to the regular folk, that Bush guy is, eh?

10. it's the deception that bothers me
Usually when he's there, we see live shots of reporters before the hay bales. But this time most of America probably thinks he's in the WH.

11. Iraq EXPLODES | The War President Clears Brush
no surprises here. <insert smacking head smilie>

=============================

a cruelty of April

Iraq escalates.
A consequence intended–
April is cruel.

Deaths won’t slow the smirk,
His Candyland panderings–
No blood red backdrops.

Teenagers fall
To the liberated who
So hate their freedom.

Iraq escalates.
Unintended consequence?
April is cruel.

12. He was too chicken to show up during the anti-war rally
Around 1,000 protesters marched through downtown Crawford on March 20...we must have frightened him off.
