The Nixon/Watergate comparisons have started
and we need to keep pounding them until the election. We know it's not that hard to associate something with a candidate ("I like Kerry, but he's a flip-flopper"). Bush must be labeled as "worse than Nixon", and we need to make it stick.

1. and it shouldn't be that hard
I've lived through both, and this fool is much worse than Nixon, who was only evil. Bush* is stupid and evil.

3. As bad as Nixon was
even he didn't want to bring on the "Rapture". Do people actually understand who our Boy King is listening to?

4. I would wager that Bush LAUGHS about the Rapture
....I doubt he seriously believes in it, and I'm so cynical that I really believe he is using the Fundamentalists to stay in office...

10. He's whacked..
no question about it. And, there's no way he's as holy as being portrayed. He's on that bottle and never quit, but of course, to the american people, he's clean--in their dreams!

to an entity that authorizes us to bomb two countries. Meanwhile a mother who says that g-d told her to kill her two children and maim one is given a slap on the wrists. Whereas a mother who drowned her four children on the advise of the "devil" is incarcerated with marginal psychiatric care.

All murder is insanity. And this administration can not continue forever with impunity. I hope and pray anyway.

I'm banking on "Worse Than Watergate" for the time being though.

6. God told me to do it
is just a lot better defense than, with apologies to Flip Wilson,
"The devil made me do it"!

7. It Gets Them Thinking
I think the simple question of what will be Bush's Watergate is enough to get any decent Republican to start thinking for a moment. Just the notion that they could name some possibilities shows Bush's exposed tendon. If you ask the question, what do you think will be Bush's Watergate? to your republican friends and then say, will it be lack of preparedness prior to 9/11 even thought there had been more than adequate warning; will it be the outing of a CIA agent from the very top of the administration, or will it be the fraud that is the war on terror? How about coercing a Government official to hide the cost of pending legislation that did not favor the Administration's program? Just the notion that the boy Bush could be find his own Watergate in any of these means that you got one potential non-bush-vote in front of you.

Clinton got impeached on draconian charges, Clinton didn't hurt anyone and what he did behind closed doors was his business. 3000+more people have died here and abroad and Bush and Friends don't have to say anything. It's time to revoke their Executive Privelige and tell them to say something, step down, or face impeachment charges just like Nixon did.

12. Bush is worse than Nixon BY FAR
Nixon actually did a couple of good things. And he didn't do as many corrupt things.

Bush is off the scale.

14. Bush's Viet Nam
I loved it when Kennedy referred to Iraq as Bush's Viet Nam. I thought THAT was extremely damaging. The Bush/Watergate and Iraq/Viet Nam comparisons will stick in people's minds.
