Have you noticed this about Bush's ads ??
I think it was pointed out on Chris Matthews show also? But, when his ad is going to be negative, he makes his 'I approve this message' statement at the front of the ad. When it is one of his rare "feel good" shining city on the hill-type ads, he makes his "I approve this messge" statement at the end of the ad? Why would he do that?

2. simple psychology
the last image seen associates with the message itself

you don't want to have dumbo coming on at the end of a negative message: the negativity will be linked, uh, subliminably with him

on the other hand, the breezy, smarmy, POSITIVE image portrayed will wash over the simian's visage, further reinforcing the wonderfulness of his being

3. ID-ing him up front contrasts his godliness to the evil-doing in the ads?

4. so that with the positive ads a lingering mint fragrance stays with
you and associates it with his name; with the negative, the stench of Kerry's awfulness will stick in your brain with no association to Bush*.

8. I notice that some of these ads flash images pretty quickly
.
.
.

Is there a chance they are using the "subliminal" message technology in one or more of these ads?

I know it wasn't "subliminal" - but it definitely had an effect when the news channels used images of the Towers in the background, when talking of Saddam.

They also had images of Saddam floating in the background when the topic was of the Towers - -

The population obviously made the mental link,

as facts don't back up even the SLIGHTEST connection - -

THAT should be illegal methinks - -

By it's own government!
