proof George W. Bush is corrupt (Texas Rangers and University money)
Tom Hicks bought the Texas Rangers, made Bush rich, and then Hicks got to manage the University of Texas' money.

http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/entertainment/8277010.htm

"Tom Hicks, vice chairman of Clear Channel Radio, is the one man perhaps most responsible for President Bush's personal financial well-being. It was Hicks who bought the Texas Rangers from a group of investors that included George W. Bush, instantly transforming Bush's significantly leveraged $600,000 investment into a quick $14 million.

As governor, Bush privatized the University of Texas' vast pool of assets, created an investment management group called Utimco and appointed Hicks its chairman. Hicks earned substantial fees for trading the university's money."

If this isn't proof Bush is corrupt, I don't know what would be.

1. The Sheep are too fearful at this time to reflect the Hows and the
Whens of Bushies prior life.

They want cheap gas, Jobs, safety, comfort, air conditioning, BMWs. and a cheer leader.

Well, I don't think we should call Bush supporters sheep, and while some people can't be persuaded Bush is corrupt, I think this deal could help persuade someone on the fence.

4. Of course by supporting Bush they have gotten none of the above
(except for the cheerleader part, since indeed Bush was and is a cheerleader).

2. Dude, you don't know the half of it....well, maybe you do...
...I lived in Texas during the entire Texas Rangers era. I knew what a looser gee-dubya was and is, and have been astounded each and every step of the way. I watched the systematic elevation from neer-do-well-alcoholic-partyboy to businessman, then to Rangers "Owner" (that one still cracks me up), to gov. Talk about a freakin' cake walk. Check out both of the $hrubco books by the fabulous Molly Ivins. She nails it. Over and over again. Some of the best research ever done concerning $hrubco and the Bush Family Evil Empire.

Such inadequacies would have been enough to keep anyone else out of ANY public office at ANY level. As he once so truthfully spoke about himself, "You know, I could run for governor but I'm basically a media creation. I've never done anything. I've worked for my dad. I worked in the oil business. But that's not the kind of profile you have to have to get elected to public office."
