Faux Newswatch on now... will they critique themselves (re: Kerrey/Clarke)
ok now that the Beltway Boys (ie. 'Twins') pukefest is over, I think it's worthy to watch Faux Newswatch to see how they handle their own ethical lapse to broadcast the off the record interview with Clarke and Bob Kerrey's response... and the chilling effect it will have with anyone thinking they are actually talking off record.

They'll also blast CBS for conflict on Clarke's book, but pay no heed to the fact that they ran an infomercial with Newscorp owned Regan Books chief Judith Regan for years -- and still have her on staff.. not to mention their flogging of 'American Idol'.

2. Don't waste your time with Fox ("Bush Cheerleading Network")
We all knew they would throw away their last shred of journalistic pretense this election year, and they have.

5. well they brought it up
nobody mentioned the chill effect... of course the debate went along ideological grounds. Gabler thought it was Clarke's call, not the White House's. They led w/ the CBS conflict, prop'd themselves for Faux's disclaimer use w/ NY Post -- though it's clear they use the Post as a front source to smear where they couldn't independently report the Post's bullshit w/o being considered a tabloid network -- which it is anyways.
