Factoid: Examining Bush’s Commitment to Security.

Bush loves to tell us that “the world changed 9-11” and that we can no longer depend upon the oceans to protect us from attack. In light of 9-11 it is hard to refute that statement.

But does he believe it? You can read what someone believes by what they actually do about that belief. Bush tells us that we are under a threat of terrorist attack, yet at the same time he fights against funding for homeland security, he freezes the funds that are passed and he ask for inadequate funds to protect this country.
