GOP Survey Question on Terror Draws Ire

A Republican voter survey used to raise political money identifies Thailand and the Philippines as countries that "harbor and aid terrorists," a description that has angered officials from the two nations.

A question on the National Republican Congressional Committee's "Ask America 2004 Nationwide Policy Survey" asks, "Should America broaden the war on terrorism into other countries that harbor and aid terrorists such as Thailand, Syria, Somalia, the Philippines, etc.?"

The list of countries we have not slapped in the face is getting very small.So far the Swiss seem to be out of the hate list but I am willing to bet it because the GOP does not know how many of those people are Ger-Swiss and Fr Swiss. Wait to Bush finds that out.

8. This survey has been out for a while

I had my hands on it at the beginning of the year. One of the questions was, “Do you think American troops should pursue terrorists and their leaders even if it means going into countries where we are not invited?”
