Is there a connection between the PNAC and the draft?
Other than the fact that the PNAC wants to invade a lot of countries. Have they stated that reinstituting the draft is part of their platform?

1. I didn't see it
I googled "draft" on their manifesto, but it didn't come up. I wouldn't expect them to be so stupid, though.

2. Both draft bills are sponsored by Dems
Rangel is one, can't remember the other one. What I heard about this - and it made sense to me once I heard it - is that it's clear with the direction we're headed, that the U.S. is going to need a draft. I think most in Congress realize our forces will be in Iraq for a very long time (of course, this was always the PNAC plan).

So...in order to not let rich kids off the hook, the idea is to put through a draft bill which has NO loopholes for college, national guard, etc. so that all classes and races will be represented equally.

3. Bush is pushing nuclear arms. I believe his plan is to use
nuclear weapons instead of soldiers. Still would need a draft, but not as many people. He's been working toward the nuclear solution since he got in office. It allows the government to take over any country he wants without all those pesky dead US soldiers. Plus, the nuclear bombs will get rid of those pesky dead civilians that bring up charges of war crimes. And lastly, by using nuclear bombs, he gets to give as much money as he wants to the defense companies. And we Americans get to stick our heads in the sands once again while our country destroys other peoples lives, but not ours. Talk about win-win situation!

and the draft will HAVE to be implemented for them to carry out their plans if Bush gets in: check out PNACs agenda:
http://www.newamericancentury.org/publicationsreports.htm

emails Im sending out:

These bills are waiting to be implemented. If George Bush gets into the
White House, let me assure you all that he will be able to put them to good
use, as his administration is run by www.newamericancentury.org and they are
planning on attacking any number of other countries according to their
statements. If you have children of draft age, I am told by people on
Capitol Hill that the draft will be implemented in 8-10 months and selective
service people I have spoken with are aware of it also and are recieving
information and being trained for this scenario in 8-10 months, much of this
being decided on who wins the election.
I wouldnt send you something if I hadnt been in touch with the military task
force lawyers in DC, which I am, and this is a real alert to families out
there who are concerned. Its time to start worrying and making plans for
your kids safety.

5. Armies of occupation are needed to carry out PNAC's plan of U.S. world
conquest. France, Germany, Russia and China will not be contributors to their grand vision.

The occupying forces will have to come from somewhere besides the rag-tag former Soviet states.
