10. Don't get me wrong...

Tweety has difficulty figuring out which side he's on on which night, but there was something about the jokes which got to him - you never know what can rub a guy like that the wrong way. I remember this lunatic father of a friend of mine who was real permissive with his kids, even from our standpoint. His kids did drugs, had sex, stayed out for days and the father condoned it - it wasn't that he just didn't care or anything, he thought it was all part of growing up. One day, this guy is watching TV in his living room and one of our buddies asks him why he's watching Hawaii Five-O - the guy goes absolutely nuts, yelling and screaming about whose house it is and whose TV and on and aon. This kid thought he was going to be shot dead in the living room.

We couldn't believe that he got that upset over something that in context was pretty innocuous considering the rest of his behavior. You just never know.

I will never foget him grilling Gillespie of the RNC last summer asking him if Bush would "dodge" the presidential debates. He would not let it go. Matthews is a nutcase and blows with the winds, but his line of questioning is very different from the question and spin that we usually hear.

The well orchestrated and well financed right wing media would have obsessed about it for weeks. They would have said it proves his disregard for the soldiers who are giving their lives. They then would have brought up his not serving in the Viet Nam war.
