Don Imus: Clarke had no authority to apologize to the 9/11 families.

I stayed up late this past evening to see what Imus was going to say about Clarke's testimony, especially since Imus has been endorsing Kerry. He said that he watched the whole testimony, and was outraged by his apology towards the 9/11 families.

I am not quoting word for word but he basically said that Clarke was arrogant to apologize to the 9/11 families, basically stating "who does this guy think he is"?

It amazes me what idiots they have placed behind microphones and cameras. Frankly I want to know who the hell Don Imus thinks he is to be spewing his poorly informed blather on the nations airwaves? Not who clarke is. We know who Clarke is, he is a devoted american patriot that has helped to make this country safe for 30 years.

What has Imus done?

ummm, doesn't Imus know Clarke is a guy who's worked in US foreign policy for 30 years??? He may not have the authority to apologize on behalf of the US Govt, but he's got the experience and conscience to speak up on matters of foreign policy!!
also, I've only started Clarke's book, but there is much more about the history of American policy in the Middle East than dirt on the buffoon-boy some people call "Mr President" *shudder*

because I am up into the wee hours of the morning looking for jobs on line. Imus comes on MSNBC at 3am out here on the west coast. he caught my ear when he started to endorse Kerry, which was a suprise.
