Dean blinks too much.
If someone blinks too often they supposedly appear less trustworthy. I don’t know how often is too often, but Dean crosses the line. Now, he also has very little charisma and looks stiff. His message won’t matter if he sucks on the tube.

P.S. I’m a Dean supporter and want him fixed.

1. Dean's blinking is natural. Lack of blinking is a learned technique.

2. Let me see...
Dean is too serious
Dean blinks too much
He is not tall
Has a small mouth

Yeah, those would be very salient reasons not to vote for him <heavy sarcasm>

3. Did you see the first debate? Dean as Hamster!
As Soon as it was over Dean must have stuffed a big doughnut in his mouth...so as CSPAN showed everybody shaking hands on stage...every shot of Dean was this dope talking to people with his mouth full. He looked like a big hamster. Sorry thats the most enduring image I have of him so far...

4. If you don't like blinking...
Get some video of Steve Forbes. On second thought, don't. It may scare small children and animals - absolutely alien looking.

5. Haw! I was just thinking of that
I was remembering Michael Moore standing next to a television with Steve Forbes on, riffing endlessly about how the guy never blinks -- it went on for so long, your eyes would water sympathetically for his dried out orbs.

8. Bwahahaha!
"under stress" and "lies" are NOT interchangeable terms. Being on national television is stressful.
I didn't notice him blinking a lot.

9. Note to self:
"Prepare blink counter for next televised Clark appearance..."

also:

"Stare into kleig light until blind to avoid someone thinking you might be under stress and lying..."

:eyes:

10. Oh, for Chrissakes
I haven't made up my mind yet on the primary candidate I plan to support but am seriously considering Dean just because of the idiotic objections made about him by his detractors. If that's the worst they can come up with... kinda reminds me of "Clinton got a blowjob!" That his message resonates with disgruntled Dems like myself far beyond the message of most of the other Dem candidates, is just icing on the cake.

And btw, if you're *really* a Dean supporter you've come up with a novel way of adding to your base. FWIW, I'd like to see him become a little more comfortable with the camera, too.
