Which two words are more important in the Pledge?

This grows tiresome. I will not trust those who are unable to interpret the Constitution's intent to be able to intepret the much more confusing aspects of theology.

1. Liberty and Justice

are the two most important words in the pledge, without which, the words "for all" have no context.

but since "For all" follows these words, I believe it to be a more apt phrase. The content of the Pledge itself defines the nature of "For All."

But, we are quibbling over minor issues. I think you understand my purpose here.

6. I Don't Believe

...reciting the pledge makes anyone more patriotic than reciting a prayer makes one holy. This whole thing is another distraction. Something that Bush can speak about if the court agrees that those two words be removed in a public classroom setting. Bush will be viewed as godly and those who agree with the court will be viewed as ungodly --- and in these perilous times we need God. Thats the spin we will hear.
