Tuned in Dennis Miller's sorry excuse for a TV show
last night for the first time ever.

I could only last a few minutes. Miller was chirping away about how Iraq was "a good starter war" for the US to use in order to flex its international muscle.

What a revolting human being. I can't believe I ever thought he was funny on SNL.

Now I know I'll never have to do that again.

2. Yeah, considering they're having to PAY the audience.
Pathetic.

3. Its getting more expensive for them too
They now have to keep a paid medical staff on the set for when audience members go into a coma or start trying to chew their legs off to get out of the shackles.

6. If he really wanted to have a good show he would vote members of the
audience off every week.:)

"A good starter war"?? In order for us to flex our "international muscle"? This is one of the most idiotic things I've read in a long time. I think we've been flexing our "international muscle" for quite some time now. Some might say that the United States needs to get off the steroids for a little while (stretching this "muscle flexing" analogy to the breaking point)

13. Your kidding. The Repug's mantra is never to say I'm sorry.
It's to get indigant when a perceived liberal (bad word) treats you the same way.

11. Let Miller be a warning to those who place comedians on pedestals
Political comedians draw their humor from anger. Just because they are beating up someone you hate does not mean they see things the same way as you. I suspect Miller's shift was much smaller than his former fans would like to believe. I think he was always a Libertarian at heart and the only shift he underwent was deciding that team USA deserved to be the top dog in the world and that we should kick everyone's ass that didn't like it.

Dennis always hated government. He was never a progressive.

14. If it weren't for DUers, his show would have been canceled by now
I swear y'all are the only ones watching his shyte, although I can't for the life of me figure out why you do it. Even Freepers are too smart to subject themselves to his pathetic "comic" stylings.

the tennis player was supposed to have signed a deal with CNBC to host a talk show. I thought it was going to follow Din Din's.

edit: Mac is a lefty both on the court and off.
