Bush's Waterloo: the Buckeye State
Bush has had a pretty good run of narrow escapes and small, technical victories. But Ohio is where Bush meets his Waterloo. He won't be able to campaign there without promising to do something for those people, and his repertoire is limited to sentimental messages about self-reliance. That won't cut it.

Bush won Ohio last time around. This time the state will be sending Bush back to Crawford Texas, where he will play fetch with his dog. He won't have to dodge reporters' questions because nobody will care what he has to say. Oh happy day for him, for his dog, for all of us.

No Republican ever won the White House without carrying Ohio.

1. Hai. Let's hope he loses it big time in Ohio...and everywhere else!

2. It'll come down unfortunately, (again, to Florida and Jebbie)

Those 25 electral votes, critical. They believe they got it in the bag...the red states are in FEAR, they won't change.

Kerry's got to pound away on Iraq. The economy, loss of jobs, etc. will take care itself, it obvious...the lies and death's and more terrorism, directly, from the illegal Iraq invasion has to be the main issue...and is even more obvious (to everyone) if it's brought to the forefront.

And Rove will do everything in his power (with the media's help) to change the direction of dialouge...that's his job and he's very good at it.

And WE"VE got to donate, our time and money.
