Some questions that need to be asked

Why wasn't the counter terrorim advisor in on meetings? Why was he not at the Camp David meeting?

Is COndi okay? She was spinning so hard this morning we were worried she might have pulled a muscle or wrenched her back.

54. How hard can it be to reply to every question asked with
"The President feels it is wrong to politisize this isseu". Or "The administration feels it's very "imporDant" to cooperate with the commission". Or "The President has agreed to VISIT with the commission". Or "I 'answered' that question last week".

Someone needs to let Scotty know that running air over his vocal cords does not constitute an answer to a question.

I eagerly wait for the day that the entire press corps gets up and walks out on this dough boy prick. It never ceases to amaze me that they will go back to that press room over and over again for the same evasive BS. I should think they'd be insulted and consider it a waste of time which otherwise might be spent in a more productive way.....you know, like a coffee break or a long trip to the shitter.

The script has been written!

Okay, if they DID know Al Qaeda was a threat (to be eliminated, not rolled back) why weren't they paying attention to the intel and memo's they were getting in August 2001??

Why were so many on vacation that they couldn't even MEET to launch this "elimination" plan?

71. This "eliminate" vs. "roll back" nonsense is BULL****!
The spin has been to say "they merely wanted to 'roll back' Al Qaida. We didn't think that was enough! We put together a plan to 'eliminate' Al Qaeda!"

To suggest that the Clinton administration didn't want to completely stop / disable / eliminate Al Qaeda simply b/c they used the words "roll back" is nonsense. They are playing semantics yet again.

The "eliminate" wording is not only inconsequential in it's real difference, but it also reveals the B&W world that the Bush administration lives in (as opposed to the real one, which has many shades of grey). To suggest that you could ever "eliminate" terrorism is one of the Bush administration's biggest faults.

EXPLAIN how the Bush Administration pursued Al Qaeda when they were in fact partners with the Taliban, mentors of Al Qaeda ...

HOW does someone 'go after' Al Qaeda, while they simultaneously associate with and promote the direct SUPPORTERS and ABETTORS of Al Qaeda ?? ..

There is NO DOUBT that this administration were on good terms with the Taliban in early 2001 ....

Scotty says now, because it is a matter of principle.

seperation of powers, blahblahblah

Q: Clarke has 3 eyewitnesses to his conversation with Bush

A: Scott spins this into stating they had to deal with 9/11 with an open mind regarding linking Iraq and 9/11

Q: Follow up, what about the eye-witnesses

Scott not answering question. Just had to admit there was no link between 9/11 & Iraq. HE DIDN'T MEAN TO SAY THAT AND YOU CAN TELL.

He said on 9/14 they knew there was no 9/11 Iraq link!!!!

Does this mean presidents should get a free pass for their ENTIRE fourth year? I mean, it's not October. It's not even summer. The whole year is going to have "political motivation" assigned to each and every fact that looks bad for the Bushies?
