And now the ball is in the court of the 9/11 Commission....
Richard Clarke made a clear point that Bill Clinton had meetings each day to stay on top of the actions of al Qaeda and bin Laden. He drew a clear distinction between the job that Bill Clinton did against terrorism and the job that George Bush failed to do against terroism. He point blank states that George W Bush has done a "terrible job in the war on terrorism".

The Bush WH permitted Stephen Hadley to respond to the charges and Leslie Stahl pointed out to him that they had two other sources to back up what Clarke said. Yet, Hadley stuck to his story. Someone is definitely not being totally honest here.

The bottom line fact is that George W Bush ignored the terrorist threat right up to 9/11. People can debate whether or not he has done a good job since 9/11, but before 9/11 there is little doubt that he ignored all the threats. It is up to the 9/11 Commission to hold up the facts and the credibility of our nation. Will they do their job or will they put partisanship above the interests of America?

1. Since the 9/11 commission is headed by one of the jokers
who ignored Clarke's warnings to begin with, I'm not holding my breath. I expect a white-wash.

I think we're already seeing the dress rehearsal. "There is plenty of blame to go around, and anyway, it's all Bill's fault."

2. Demand that the hearings get televised
Given the explosiveness of Clarke's revelations, we should DEMAND that all major networks televise the hearings LIVE!
