I just donated to John Kerry for the first time

I was planning on doing it eventually, but Bush's horrible rally in Florida and that article on Rove's 90-day strategy (saying they've outspent Kerry more than 10-1 in advertising so far) made me act NOW.

My donation wasn't big, but I hope to give more down the road. Bush must go, and I will do everything in my power to see that happen.

In addition to all the obvious ethical, moral, and patriotic reasons to support Kerry over Bush, there are economic self interest reasons to give. Heck, my couple a hundred or thousand bucks given now will pale in comparison to the savings in college costs, for example, I may receive for my three children over the next ten years with a Dem in the WH. Also, how much might we save on health care costs with Kerry?

it would be great if this frightening rally, with its "1984" rhetoric, resulted in a flood of Kerry contributions. Give what you can, guys!

I am so depressed. I don't know if we can win. We should win, we've got the numbers but the media/bush campaign may just overwhelm us.
