Remember Mr. bush* Pervez Musharraf is a MILITARY DICTATOR
Edited on Sat Mar-20-04 09:37 AM by spanone
Once again we have climbed in bed with a dictator. While ousting a democratically elected president in Haiti we are coddling a Military Dictator in Pakistan. Once again America is on Moral Highground.

1. "The new Pakistani general, he's just been elected -
- not elected, this guy took over office. It appears this guy is going to bring stability to the country and I think that's good news for the sub-continent." -- Bush; November 1999

2. You mean that our allies Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait,
Tunisia etc. are not democracies? Well I'll be damned.

well i'll be damned.
isn't it interesting that the rise of islamic fundamentalism grows along side the lack of self determination in the middle east?

4. I believe that the Arab revolt took place before the creation of Israel.

Also, the Arabs were on the side of the nazis during WW2. The Arabs also treated their jewish population as second class citizens before they threw them out of their country.

http://www.palestinefacts.org/pf_mandate_grand_mufti.php

He wanted to kill Jews instead of make peace with them. This ran counter to many Arabs who wanted to make peace with Jews. Same as Arafat. And I agree that the Grand Mufti did not rep all arabs but he made damn sure that no arabs would make peace with Jews. Arafat has the same exact philosophy.
