Has anyone called him this yet?? It seems to me that it is an apt nickname.. He has pried open the box, stolen the gems, and all that's left to all of us is the evil that leaked out..

I am willing to believe that 911 was LIHOP, and not MIHOP, but so many evil things have happened since he "arrived" one the scene..it boggles the mind..

Honestly, I am not so sure that removing him will even "solve" our problems, since his "crew" will not be leaving with him in any substantive numbers.. I don't see Orrin Hatch or Tom Delay or Trent Lott or Little Rickie Santorum or any of the others ..going anywhere.

They will still be there in all their "glory", ready to set little fires wherever they can, and always ready to cause as much trouble as they can..

The only thing that could make a difference is the one thing that no one seems to have the stomach for.. TOTAL EXPOSURE and linkage to all the really despicable things that they have done over the years.. There is a wealth of evidence, but there is no one who has the guts to do it..

If there was a massive investigation on the conservative "movement" and they were subpoenaed and put under oath, we would be at step one, but I am sure that even if we do take over a chamber, "appeasement" will be the order of the day.. If we really cleaned house and exposed the nasty things that they have been doing "in our name" for all those years, maybe people around the world would see that we are taking responsibility for the "failed" diplomacy and foreign policy.. This terrorism rampage is like a giant "intervention", but the object of the intervention is wearing earplugs and a blindfold.

As long as the democratic party has the mindset of "let bygones be bygone".. they will just keep resurrecting at every opportunity.. They are like vampires.. Look at the retreads from Ford/Reagan/Bush1/and even Nixon... All these vile ideas, converging into the "perfect storm", and no one seems to be able to "out" them effectively..

until Democrats take control of at least one branch of government.

Right now we are living under the neo-con boot.

I'm afraid this election will be a mirror of the Putin election in Russia and Berlusconi in Italy--control of the media means control of the vote.

Somebody please give me something to hang onto, I'm getting really depressed.

3. You're right, pg. He who controls television, controls America!

and we all know who is in control at this point. However, the internet has instigated an unprecendented grassroots movement against the establishment. If we can prevail on just ONE issue - Diebold - BushCo will be soundly defeated - by perhaps the largest landslide in U.S. history - even with their control of the media - that's how awful an administration this has been - and fucking widespread the hate for Bushler truly is!!
