Clinton used to jog through the streets, right? I remember all this stuff about * being a great runner during the election, and maybe saw a couple of clips. Not sure I remember any images since * has been prez.

So is he or ain't he still a runner? If he runs, he must do it in WH gym, not be quite the man of the people he likes to pose as.

Unimportant, in the large scheme. Just crossed mymind as I was, um, running today.

What else does he have to do? He is no longer running as he blew out one or both knees last summer. You don't hear much about it...I wonder why?

When he was running, however, was he doing it in the public manner of Clinton? Given I run as well and take notice, for the life of me I only recall 2-3 vid clips of him running, all during campaign or in the early days of term.

BTW, wasn't he claiming 6:10 miles on 4-5 milers? Guess it just crossed my mind today that I'd believe it when I saw it

Schools, military bases, and fundraisers. Those are the only people he sees.

5. runner v. jogger

It's funny. I was just thinking about this today--how they always called Clinton a jogger and refer to Bush as a runner. It seems to me it's another example of trying to make the stumbler seem macho.

you don`t "run" at this age, you jog or run-walk. his history of drug /alcohol use and fund raising schedule may put alot of stress on the ol`e ticker.

9. We can only hope

Not just "drug" use but cocaine abuse. And LOTS of alcohol. Unfortunately the only exercise GW gets is stooping out of conference rooms saying "fuck Saddam we are invading Iraq".

We could only hope the President would try some real strenuous excessive. Maybe he and Cheney would both go out "running" together. Now wouldn't that be a shame.

but no matter how hot, she was never seen in shorts. She always wore sweat pants and long sleeves.

Now he exercises in the pool and in the gym. Hey, he's got to fill those long hours cooped up in that house with nothing to do.
