Driving through southern Georgia Friday

I passed a Baptist church in Luthersville. the message board outside said "I now pronounce you pervert and pervert".
Nice, huh? Sometimes I think some of the fundies think it's a virtue being a jerk...

A very judgemental brand of Christianity, at times.

last week during the state debate on passing a law against gay marriage.

Used to live in the South, and had to keep my mouth shut concerning politics.

But during worship today, we congratulated a lesbian couple, members of our very much mainline church, on their recent MARRIAGE.

How 'bout that....!
