Democrats up now on Senate floor C-Span Talking WMD and Intel
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 07:26 PM by seemslikeadream
Sen Harry Reid - We will defend our canidate for President on the Senate floor

Sen. Levin up now whether the intelligence was flawed and we should find out why. How could there be said there were 120 WMD sites and none be found. Wildly off intelligence, something happened to intelligence after 9/11. What is the explaintion for this? We must find out for the health of the nation. Another aspect to this, the use of the intelligence. A recent statement by the Vice President about the vans, how could he make such a statement. I wrote the Vice President and asked him. On NPR he said he had conclusive evidence.
He said there was no doubt about WMD. How did they take the finding and turn it into certainty.

7. This is great stuff
Mentioning wolfowitless and rummy letter to Clinton in '98, how this has been in their sights for years, lost focus on al quaida because of it.

3. I'm switching back and forth
from C-Span to C-Span2. It's Iraq Watch night in the House, and I want to hear the Senate Dems, too.

Fortunately at the moment the House is still in regular after hours speeches.

But yeah, these things are worth watching if for no other reason than to hear Democrats speaking out. It's not like you're gonna read or hear this stuff in the major media.

8. Lots of balls to keep in the air
Until CentralAIrMedia fires up on the 31st, our elected officials are going to have to keep all these issues on view.

10. C-Span2...Economy Watch?
Sherrod Brown is up, talking about the budget and the economy.

They announced speakers earlier from the regular Iraq Watch group...Brown's a part of that, too. So I'm guessing (hoping) they'll cover both issues.
