CNN to exclusive interview Cheney. Says AlQaeda responsible Iraq Bombing
today. Just saw a clip of Lester Holts' inteview planned with Cheney for tonight where Cheney says they had intelligence info that it was AlQaeda cell who orchestrated todays suicide bombings. (yeah, right!)

They must be getting worried if Unca Dickie is being trotted out of his cave for interview. Also, Asscroft is on announcing World Com indictments against Ebbers and Sullivan. Asscroft has obviously gotten with the "Botox" program or he had some nips on the bags under his eyes.
He looked very different. He's done something. Makeup alone wouldn't cover that guys bags.

1. Was Chalabi reading a book about a hungry goat at the time?
Didn't some unelected drunk once say something about getting the head of AlQaeda dead or alive? Whatever happened with that?

3. Re-animating his corpse repeatedly adds a substantial sum
to our national debt. They should just leave him buried and save us some money.

15. Georgie Porgie Puddin Pie,
does not care how many soldiers die.
He cares not for their needs or protection,
Only that they serve his re-election.

8. Yes, it was the Venezuelan AlQaida!
With assistance from the Haitian Taliban!
(And I am guessing that Arafat was the master mind
((working with the French, of course).)

Cheney loves telling fibs.
He loves screwing this country.
He loves it so much that his face has taken on
a permanent sneer of evil delight.

11. lol, there you go, you see right through
after all, if it were actual Iraqi people, attacking the U.S. Army, in defense of their homes, would The Dick actually say that?

Hell no. It's officially "al Qaeda" regardless of whether it's actually al Qaeda or not!

9. It wouldn't surprise me

Al Qaeda wasn't in Iraq before the invasion, and now they are there in force. The Shia in Iraq are being percieved as cooperating with US forces - and to no small extent, they are, because they are the majority and are looking to translate that into control of the country. See: Ayatollah Sistani, who is cooperating for now but with threats of intifadah.

This makes the Shia ripe targets for anyone looking to bog down US forces in Iraq. Driving the Shia into a frenzy is the best way to do that. No one said al Qaeda was dumb.

Of course, it could also have been the Sunnis, who fear the rise of Shia control. Oh what a tangled web we weave.

(or any terrorist attacks) were there in Iraq before we toppled their Government ?

<crickets>

Hmm ... I guess it is a good thing we are there now, so we can stop it.

Cheers

12. His words are not credible based on his prior statements. Also...
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 01:37 PM by Brotherjohn
... the latest information I have seen on the matter indicates that there is very little hard evidence of an Al Qaeda presence in Iraq. (Sorry, I don't have a link on this. Anyone?) When push comes to shove, even U.S. forces have admitted that only an extremely small number of detainees captured in Iraq are even suspected Al Qaeda operatives. Most are Iraqi nationals.

13. "AlQaeda responsible Iraq Bombing"
So what is the surprise here?
Any jackass worth his salt knew that Iraq
was a hornet's nest and needed to be left
alone unless the U.N. wanted to tackle it.

The stupid VP wants us (the presumed sheep)
to get indignant that the dreaded AlQaeda
would be so arrogant as to interfere with
Iraqi occupation.

Dear Mr. Cheney,
why did you make our young soldiers the
target of ALQaeda? Hundreds are dead and
dying, thousands permanently crippled. In
spite of your reckless foreign policies
Iraq is most likely to become a civil war
zone and eventually have a religious dictatorship
government. You stupid idiot....!!!!!!

17. They're building up to the July Surprise.
They need a big Bin Laden buildup going into the convention, so that when Bush* Jr. stands on the graves of the 3000 downtown, it will all tie together. It's marketing.
