Barbara Bush on Poppy: "If the fall doesn't kill him, I will".
Edited on Mon Mar-01-04 10:03 AM by emad aisat sana
From the UK's Sunday Times:

"It is going to be his last jump. If the fall doesn’t kill him, I will"

Barbara Bush on her husband, former president George Bush, who is planning a parachute jump, aged 80

from:http://www.timesonline.co.uk/newspaper/0,,176-1019367,00.html

Just cut the strings on the 'chute, Barb....people are queuing up to sponsor you in this project, purely on humanitarian grounds....

1. Is she being investigated by the Secret Service?
You know, threats on the life of a former president have to be investigated seriously, even if they were in jest.

=D

3. If he really wants to recreate his youthful adventure.....
The pilot of the plane needs to bail out before he has a chance to get into the 'chute.

Are the ghosts of his crew haunting him?

Cowardly self interest.

6. A few years ago they made a big huge deal aut of this ass making a par-
achute jump.I think it was supposed to be his first jump since WWII:you know, when he ditched his plane, killing his crew.Anyway, they showed video of it taken on the plane and it's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. There were like 4 guys(Secret Service,I think) holding on to him really tight with their hands while they all jumped!Because he was terrified of doing it.And when he jumped he hit his helmeted head REALLY hard on the top of the plane opening. It was so goddamned silly!I forget what show I saw it on but everyone should see it.

7. Death on the brain
It seems to me that every time Babs opens her piehole, she always has some crack about death or "killing" someone... Freud would have a field day with her.
