I'm obviously new so please forgive me if this has been discussed recently. I get the e-updates from HRC and every once in awhile, like today, it mentions a blurb about the Log Cabin Republicans are "joining forces with..." or something to that nature. I'm sorry, but I don't give a rats ass about what the Log Cabin Re pugs are doing! I don't care that they're gay--they just aren't my brothers and sisters. Plus, I hold them responsible for helping these awful people and for helping us into get in the mess we're in.
I realize it's economically and politically expedient for HRC to include them so I guess I can't blame them but, sheesh, it makes me angry now when I read anything about their criticisms of Bush now.

Jewish Nazis. I think that's too harsh. I don't understand why any GLBT person would align him/herself with the GOP, but -- to each his own.

As for me, Log Cabin members ARE my brothers and sisters merely because they, too, are human beings. They deserve equality no less than the rest of us.

8. Log Cabin Republicans I knew were

closeted and rich; they love their tax cuts because they care more about their own money then their own gay rights. There are many gay people that care more about their own money than say; the environment (there are gay polluters), racism (I know gay racists), and maybe they just hate gay people. Poor self loathing bastards.

So they are pathetic and hate themselves and use homophobia to keep their whole sick world view together. While I mostly had my own world view together by the age of 21; I recall being completely stupid, ignorant and stupid before then. I am so embarrassed and sorry for some of the stupid things I thought when I was young. By being racist and feeling bad about it later, I evolved and grew by feeling compassionate and love for things and people my religion, culture and family said I was supposed to hate. That's how I grew out of it and gained my own view. This took time and experience.

All I'm saying is that although they are pathetic, extremely closeted, and almost impossible to have a relationship with; this is only because they have not developed yet for whatever reason and should be the object of compassion, not derision. So fuck a Log Cabin Republican gay-boy up the ass! For America! For Democracy! For the future growth of civilization.

2. Right now I don't care who votes for the Democratic nominee

I'm not gonna be picky. Anyone and everyone needs for the Democratic nominee. We need every vote we can get. Politics makes for some strange bedfellows sometimes!
