Recent hubris of Bush* and Co. shows them over reaching.
-Defining burger flipping to "manufacturing job" to bring up the manufacturing job numbers.
-Calling US teachers terrorists.
-Preaching that outsourcing our jobs to other countries is good for the US
Not to mention their previous string of lies.

3. Every teacher I know
is fuming mad. I'm fuming mad. I even called my Congressman and protested. What Bush doesn't know is the NEA may be a union, but the members are very independent. Probably about half are usually Republican. I think this little slip up will make more of them decide to vote Democratic.

5. My wife is an NEA member and a teacher
and is not amused about being called a terrorist. Of course she already hates Bush (almost) as much as I do, but you are correct that this could have some effect on teachers on the right end of the spectrum.
