Jonathan Alter on GWBush
I certainly don't trust journalist any further than I can throw them, but Alter has a very good piece about why $150 million media bucks won't be able to gloss over the deep flaws that make up GWBush.

It also makes a very good point that the new tag line at the end of campaign commercials (in a candidates own voice) is an inhibiting factor in "official ads" being negative.

Of course there are plenty of other ways to go negative.

1. Dubya won't go negative
All his surrogates will come out of the woodwork & do the dirty work,

just like he did to McCain in 2000.
