David Kelly Court Hearing On CSPAN (2PM ET)

It's not live, but it's from today. I think it's being shown for the first time. It's about the scope of the inquiry.

1. Thanks, I want to hear more about those electrodes!!!!

Let me guess, but they may of put the cardiac electrodes on at the scene to confirm death.....Thats the only reason without a sinister motive......

2. That's exactly my reaction!
They're calling it suicide just because he didn't have his watch or sunglasses on and the cut was on his left wrist but he had EKG pads on his chest????

This reeks like a very bad suspense novel. In that novel he was abducted, drugged, cut (until bled out?), EKG pads applied to ensure his heart had stopped, then dumped with a bottle of pain killers.

I told you it was a bad suspense novel.

3. When I have a patient die and it is
a coroners case, we don't remove tubes but we do remove the electrodes if we think about it...no rule to leave them on anyways ...Maybe at the scene, the paramedics left them on in all the hustle-bustle...... But, if they were on at the time of discovery of the body....well that is another issue.

5. What happened to the old fashioned "checking for a pulse?" Or was he alive
Edited on Fri Aug-01-03 01:59 PM by KoKo01
at the scene, but faded away from the blood loss?

Is the common procedure to use electrodes just in case with all injured folks?

That might explain why the electrodes were there, if it was an EMS unit which was brought on the scene. Just to confirm things. And the electrodes just weren't removed because it was a suspicious death so they figured the coroner would do it.

4. I'd like to know
how the Blair government found out Kelly was the informer to the BBC. Did they get into the BBC's reporters email or tap their phones or both. Or did a Bush and Blair loving reporter tell the Blair government Kelly was talking to the press. If this isn't answered I will know the inquiry is bogus.
