A charge for the Medicare discount card? |
The story is going around the retirement community where my mother lives that Medicare will charge $35 a month for the upcoming prescription "discount" card. A search of the official Medicare site reveals only that the cards will be available in May and that they will provide a savings of from 10 to 25% on prescriptions.
Does anyone know anything?

1. We already get-10-15% senior discount on all drugs |
including the cheapest generics at LOCAL PHARMACIES!! Hey Bush, your re-election campaign isn't going to work on seniors. Their deductibles and co-pays are going up and you offer this silly c***?

2. The details of this thing are very vague |
I suspect they haven't actually been worked out yet. I suspect it will all work out to more paperwork and more money for drug companies.
