Since Michael more did such good job on the AWOL issue,
maybe he could refocus some attention on the drunk driving issue. I figure the awol issue only has a few weeks left in it at best unless a criminal investigation insues. If the issue starts to die down, maybe Moore could shine some more light on the fact that Shrub's license was suspended after his drunk driving incident (I'm not sure of the exast charge in Maine, DUI, DWI...). I am pretty sure that at that point in time, first time offenders did not have their license suspended. Why was Shrub's license suspended.

1. what about the drivers license scrubbing?
What about that? It seems more a coverup than the DUI.

3. Part and parcel.
It's all good. Now that the feces is starting to hit the fan, let's just pile it on.

2. Cocaine
Bush's days of being a little coke monkey REALLY need to be exposed.

5. People know that he was a coke monkey,
but they don't seem to care. However, the lengths to which he and his people appear to have gone to cover it up might raise some eyebrows if they can be brought to light.

6. what I mean is...
...he was supposedly arrested for it (according to Hatfield's book), did community service for it, and had his drivers license record expunged to cover it up. If he's hiding something like that, the people should know.

I could care less what drugs he's done, but if he covers up something like that, it's fair game.

9. I agree. It is the cover up. It appears that some laws were broken
to cover up the fact that some laws were broken.

8. I don't know about that
I think some people missed that one, or just forgot about it. But, the cover-up of the coke use and the driver's license scrubbing might raise a few eyebrows.

10. It should raise a few eyebrows.
If Bush had his DL scrubed to hide the fact that he got busted for coke, then that is big news.

However, how would DL scrubing help? They don't keep criminal records based on DLs do they? Don't they us SSN or something like that?

11. SOME people know

SOME people know that he was a Coke Monkey. But they are keeping that from the general public.

Bush KNOWS this issue would hurt them. They spent SO MUCH time hyping up Clinton's joint. Yes, drug use DOES matter!!!!!

The President DID use Cocaine sometime before 1974. They REFUSED to deny that Bush used Cocaine. That means that it's VERIFIABLE in some way. Otherwise, they just would have lied.

This issue has a NICE pace to it. As the AWOL issue keeps grinding, the Coke issue gets closer to general exposure.

They will "spin" it, but they won't deny it. Once you know they can't deny it, they can hammer away at him all day and watch him spin like a globetrotter basketball.

Yes, it is true. The President shirked his guard duty because he had a Cocaine problem. He had a substance abuse problem until he was 42 years old. Does a habitual substance abuser make a good president??????

4. Moore
The drunk driving issue is useless, when Bush changed his license number all of that information was forever deleted.

7. It doesn't matter.
We know that Bush had his license suspended. He has never been asked why. If someone where to ask him why, it would cause problems.

here is how it would go.

Reporter: President Bush, why was you license suspended after you well publicized drunk driving episode in 1978.

Bush: Uh, because that is what the law requires.

Reporter: Was that your first offense?

Bush: Uh, duh, huh, wah, Terra, Terra, Terra.
