Update on conversation with soldier stepson ( IM MAD)

This phone conversation occured tonight
Me: "Hi I have some numbers to give you concerning your diagnosis of Scoliosis in your back"
Him"okay..send them on email Ill call"
Me: "DONT FORGET TO BITCH ABOUT YOUR BACK PAIN YOU HAVE EVERY LEGAL RIGHT TO DO SO "
Him:" okay but man Ill get in trouble if I do"
Me: "Bullshit for them..you bitch if you want to and call that number I sent you on email if you want to...the military affairs person says you have every right to bitch about it..in the meantime, please demand that ALL YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS AND X RAYS ABOUT YOUR SCOLIOSIS ARE SENT TO ME"
Him: "They pitched the X rays. "
Me: "what????????????"
Him:"They threw them out, they say I have scoliosis on there but they threw out the X rays"
Me:" they cant do that goddamit send me the medical records asap I want them on file okay???"
Him: "Okay Ill ask for them to be released"
Me: "call the number I sent you on email okay??"
Him: "Okay"

and then he talked to his dad for awhile..

what the fuck!! they pitch X rays from a medical exam that determined the kid has scoliosis before they send him to Iraq????????????/ Is this a fucking cover up??????/ wtf!!!

My husband was sent to Iraq with very bad neck and knee problems (from his job in the military that he's been doing for 8 years). They "lose" his x-rays regularly.

8. Yes other families are

I talked with Nancy Lessin today at www.mfso.org and she said lots of families are having their loved ones sent with PRE EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS, and being sent BACK to Iraq with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder! Its a mess..and the military families are a mess because they are being treated like shit and ignored with their concerns.

to get as many bodies as they can. his condition during nam would mean a medical deferment or "light duty" typing ,etc ,etc office job or aide. the coward in chief can hide for two years but your stepson and all the others can`t. may god protect him.

6. my uncle has scoliosis

and he was in vietnam. but then i don't think he has back problems yet. and by the way. I had sciosis as well and after a different spine injury, i went to a chiropractor which fixed my dislodged spine and just happened to straight my spine as well. when he comes back he should look into a chiro who specialises in the spine. it will help when he is older. my only bitch is it didn't make me taller.
