Young media whore Ruben Naverette (Ruben Navarette Jr., to be more precise) rants about the Democrats' obsession with Vietnam in his master's paper, the Seattle Times. (Note: That's the sellout that endorsed George W. Bush in 2000.)
That's really just about all he has to say in this editorial, except for this key passage:
"We have had different experiences, and we've emerged with a different measuring stick. . . . If the pitch is national security, all that matters is how they responded to the events of Sept. 11, 2001."
In other words, it's all about reading a story about a pet goat, running away to Nebraska, then cracking Trifecta jokes while Americans are losing their jobs at home and their lives in Iraq.
Thanks for clearning that up, Ruben. Junior.
