Yahoo/AP changes unflattering title for article re: Chimp economy!!
See for yourself:

"Greespan Warns of Soaring Budget Deficit"

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=&e=4&u=/ap/20040211/ap_on_bi_ge/greenspan_4

Minutes later - the same article - the same writer - is retitled:
"Greenspan Cites Impressive Economic Gains!"

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=&e=1&u=/ap/20040211/ap_on_bi_ge/greenspan_9

Bastards! This is what we're up against!!

:puke:

:argh:

3. Great example of media bias...should email this around....
Email to the campaigns, Michael Moore, DNC, etc.

It's a PERFECT example of the power of media bias today.

THEY CHANGED A HEADLINE to spin bad news into good news for the evil doers in the White House.

Doesn't get much more obvious that this. An easy example for the sheep to understand, IMO.

As long as they think no one notices, they can do it.

CNN once changed a picture/caption of Bush at least 4 times.. I got all of them as they changes, and then a bunch of us sent them to CNN along with letters of complaint :)

5. Maybe this is a subtle attempt by those at Yahoo...
to point out that perspective is everything, and that when it comes to public policy, the same information can be used in many different ways.
We should be so thankful that we are surrounded by those who understand the influence that media have!
<sarcasm off>

Q: Does Rove get overtime for all this extra work?
