Washington Post: Bush Aims For 'Greater Mideast' Plan
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A24025-2004Feb8.html

The Bush administration has launched an ambitious bid to promote democracy in the "greater Middle East" that will adapt a model used to press for freedoms in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

Senior White House and State Department officials have begun talks with key European allies about a master plan to be put forward this summer at summits of the Group of Eight nations, NATO allies and the European Union, U.S. officials say. With international backing, the United States then hopes to win commitments of action from Middle Eastern and South Asian countries.

South Asia??? Does that mean we're going to invade Viet Nam again?

1. In due time.....
unfortunately, Vietnam, along with China, the Philippines and other
asian countries border an EXTREMELY rich oil basin near they Spratley
Islands. Not to mention that they also border the major shipping lanes
of the Southeast asian seas....

I feel a draft coming...

The military is at the breaking point. The country is in fiscal hell. Exactly who is going to quake in their shoes now? We're played out, at least in the short term. A fine mess you've gotten us into, chimp boy.

3. Correction: "Wolfowitz Aims for 'Greater Mideast Grand Plan'
It's just ridiculous how rigid these guys are. They fail and they fail and they fail and yet they insist on sticking with the blueprint. Bottom line: they are REALLY not so bright. Our country has been hijacked by DUMMIES.
