What's Daniel Pipes up to now?

Anyone know what Daniel Pipes is up to nowadays? He's been very, very, very quiet for the past few months. Haven't heard one of his --Islam is the devil!-- rants in a while.

or does that bloke (presumably Pipes - never read more than a sentance of his bile don't know what he looks like) kinda look like a young Salman Rushdie atleast around the eyebrows?

3. He's at the US Instiute of Peace

I e-mailed James Zogby about him, the president of the Arab American Institute. He said that even though Mr. Pipes is at the instiute, his ideas will not be advanced there due to the opposistion from his colleagues. On top of that, the Institute of Peace does not delcare US policy. They just provide recommendations to Congress.

Someone who feels that Racial Profiling is necessary and is a good thing is not a friend of mine.
