Geraldo Rivera
What an ass!

He just said that we should stop criticizing the bush's war because then he might do what is politically popular (like bring home troops early). I guess we should all just talk about how wonderful bush is.

Didn't Geraldo get kicked out of Iraq for revealing our military's plans?

3. Yes, I believe he did reveal classified information. I think I also recall
that he pretended to be in Afghanistan when he was someplace else - or was that just Dan Blather?

At any rate, Geraldo Riviera never did have any more credibility than George W. Bush. I wish he'd gotten wasted in Iraq along with that Washington Post columnist.

4. Faux News
Is a disgrace. They are just repeating the WH talking points everyday. Someone please give me a list of the liberal media compared to the conservative media, let's see who wins.

6. The sad thing is
I actually used to like watching Geraldo when he was on CNBC during the whole Clinton impeachment fiasco. In that case, Geraldo was right on target, calling the impeachment what it was -- a coup by other means.

After 9/11, however, Geraldo seemed to change, and he developed this strange admiration for the Shrub. I don't understand it. Once Afghanistan war started he switched to Fox so he could go over there and cover the war. Since then he's been a total Bush sympathizer.

7. He was once a real reporter before becoming a whore....
Long ago working for ABC in NY he broke a story about the horrendous conditions at a place called Willowbrook, a home for the mentally retarded. That got him started...

9. Geraldo used to be a liberal too.
He certainly didn't like the old Bush, defended Clinton against Ken Starr. I mean, he never had nice things to say about Ken Starr, Linda Tripp, Paula Jones and the whole fiasco.

Did he get lobotomized at FAUX?

11. He was never a straight arrow journalist.
He once had a talk show that was sort of like Jerry Springer. He did that big publicity stunt about opening Al Capone's vault, like there was going to be all this gold in it from prohibition illegal booze money, but it was empty, so was his brain for this one.

But the one thing he was pretty consistent about was being a liberal. I wonder what went wrong?

Yes, the highly promoted, live opening of Al Capone's vault!

He also had, at one time, a talk show that wasn't exactly terribly thorough about fact checking.
