MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent William Andrekopoulos announced Friday night that the system has been conducting an internal investigation into standardized tests that elementary school children have to take every year.

Officials believe there were some improper activities going on at Palmer Elementary School involving the third, fourth and fifth grades.

Apparently, the children were given the test booklets, as well as the answers, several days ahead of time. They were able to practice on them, but they were the actual tests.

I mean "Bush's" NCLB is really the fault of our legislators (on BOTH sides of the aisle), no? Bush couldn't have passed it without them.

Come to think of it, the IWR and the Patriot Act fall into that same category, don't they.
