I expect a "news" story to break tomorrow.
This administration is famous for releasing damning data when all eyes and ears are focused elsewhere. Any odds? You can bet Karl Rove won't be watching football tomorrow.

3. I don't think it is a good idea to say so, because if you happen to be

correct, your previous statement could put you in a vulnerable position.

4. Bread and Circuses !!!

Thats all this administration is about.

The big news to deflect is the recent abolishment of overtime. Though, the news media hasn't been too eager to report on this major issue.

Democrats should seize on this issue from two directions. They should make the case that ALL individuals should receive time and a half for anything over 40 hours. Even "salaried" workers.

7. I agree wholeheartedly
Rove and Co. usually wait until Fri. for all their bad news so the weekenders don't hear about it and by Mon. it's OLD news.

9. Like Hitler's Saturday surprises.
Der Fuhrer was notorious for pulling shenanigans on Saturday, when everyone had gone home for the weekend and by the time those who could have stopped him got back on their feet, the deed was already done.

10. No, I don't think so. It'd actually be a BAD time to release anything.
For the same reason Bush had his little visit to Baghdad Airport on Thanksgiving. Everyone is together, talking.

11. I predict the Mars Rover will discover definitive evidence of . . .
. . . water on Mars.

Not a big deal, since most scientists already strongly suspect it, but good visual appeal, using a Bush agency (NASA), good corporate support, etc. etc.
