Condoleeza Rice: Saddam defied world by not admitting to non-existent wmd
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/01/29/international/middleeast/29CND-WEAP.html

The president's judgment to go to war was based on the fact that Saddam Hussein had for 12 years defied the international community, refused to account for large stockpiles of weapons," she said in an interview with Matt Lauer on NBC's "Today" program. "Nobody could count on the good will of Saddam Hussein to tell us that he did not have anthrax or botulinum toxin. He didn't even try.'

----------------------
The Iraquis let in UN inspectors.

How else could they prove that they didn't have something they didn't have?

Saddam said they didn't have wmd, Bush said Saddam was defying the UN by refusing to admit his wmd.

Now that it's been proven Saddam was telling the truth, Condoleeza Rice is saying the war was Saddam's fault for not proving he was telling the truth.

3. Condi Wisdom
Edited on Thu Jan-29-04 07:19 PM by A J

This is my favorite piece of Condi Wisdom, taken from a Reuters story from today:

"I think that what we have is evidence that there are differences between what we knew going in and what we found on the ground," Condoleezza Rice told CBS.

She added, "That's not surprising in a country that was as closed and secretive as Iraq, a country that was doing everything that it could to deceive the United Nations, to deceive the world."

(end snip)

I just don't think Condi's "they tried to trick us into thinking they had weapons and tricked us into going to war" is going to go over well.

Seriously, what is she thinking?

10. She is an idiot, who if not so dangerous on the stage would deserve
a great laugh and dismissal.

How can any female with her background and experience be such an imbecile? For the love of...Bush...politics? Or is it the money?

11. Maybe she faked her way througn it a;ll and is really not that intelligent
at all. She sure doesn't come off as overly intelligent. She has mastered the "look" of a "strong woman" and the acting in front of the camera, but, she is really a pathetic puppet.

She is quite shallow. Nothing in her actions support anything at all that looks like knowledge that is valuable or above average intelligence. She offers no outstanding advice at all. Everything she says and does is scripted by someone who has control over her.

They are all fakes --they have perfected the art of the "play act" The entire administration is a world of play acting and a world of lies constantly.

14. I watched that segment,
and wanted to kick my tv. She was going in circles, round and round, trying to tell whoever was interviewing her that the ends justified the means. Then I started watching her left eye, man, that's scary, no offense to those with a wandering eye but hers' was spinning.
