Hannity on WABC in NY

My radio in my van recently stopped receiving FM stations so I'm stuck listening to AM during my commute back and forth to work.

In the morning I get Curtis :+ & Kuby, and in the afternoon it's Hannity. Needless to say, my drive time sucks.

That said, I just couldn't take the BS coming out of Hannitys' mouth any longer. So, I called.

I ask him why it is that the republicans went crazy when Bill Clinton lied about sex with Monica, but the chimpster(I called him Bush on the call) gets a pass on every lie. He asks me what * lied about.

I said , "Well lets start at the beginning with his application to hold the office of President. When he got to the question, Have you ever been convicted of a crime? he answered no. Now Sean, we all are aware of his DUI arrests......." Sean started sputtering, " Well we don't KNOW that there was a conviction, but face it you're just another screaming liberal who hates george bush."

I told him it was awful presumptuous of him to characterize me as a bush hater after only speaking with me for 20 seconds.

I spoke a little about Iraq and the lack of WMD's but Hannity was talking over me like the good re:puke: that he is. I tried his approach and just kept talking at the same time he was, so he hung up on me.

I love it. I was called a * hater by one of the biggest a$$holes of the century for all of New York to hear. Ahhh, life is good.

I didn't hear your call but I commend you for calling that loud mouth repubic standing your ground and not letting him talk over you. I often wonder if they all have different degrees of hearing loss because they always seem to talk so loud. Maybe it's a repubic thing to take loads of hillbilly heroin and like Flush, they are damaging their hearing too. 19. "Bush hater" What to say when this happens.

I was flying into Vegas Monday and heard the person in the aisle seat next to me say to the person in the aisle seat across from him that he was sick and tired of the Dem candidates always attacking Bush. They have no programs or issues...they are simple people who hate Bush and nothing else. So I politely asked him which of the candidates had he heard say that they "hated" Bush and which candidate had personally attacked Bush. He turned beet red and said "Everyone knows they hate Bush." I asked him how did everyone know this and mentioned that I had viewed every campaign debate and hand'nt heard a single candidate say they "hated Bush" or attack him personally. Then I asked him how many debates he had watched...none. I said "hmmmm, I see." You believe that anyone who opposes Bush's domestic or foreign policies really just hates him? At that point, the man nodded to the person he was talking to across the asile and jerked his head nodding head toward me and said out loud nodding in my direction, "some people just don't get it." The rest of the flight was very quiet. I did manage to accidentally spill a few drops of my water on his leg. What price air travel?

Simply, don't let anyone get away with saying that our candidates or any one of the liberal persuasion "hate Bush." Especially don't let the media get away with it. No doubt that some of us do really hate Bush but don't let our fight be defined by mere hate especially don't allow the RWingnuts to pin that label on us.

I've noticed that this seems to be the right wing "meme du jour". Anyone who disagrees with Bush is a hater or basher. I listen to C-SPAN radio on the way to work every morning and I've noticed that after a Democrat, Independent, or intelligent Republican mentions something that they disagree with about this President, some dumb right wing caller calls in and says something like "I support this president because he is an honest man. I'm sick of all these Democrat Bush haters (or bashers)." Seriously, nearly every caller that supports Bush says this. I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere in the GOP manual or the weekly email newsletter.

My only critique, (if it is one) is that when challenged on being a Bush hater, I think we should say, "We don't hate the man, though we hate the job he is doing"
Hannity always uses the denial of being a bush hater as grounds for calling us liars and hanging up.

I would love to turn it around and say,
Yes I hate bush for the policies he has enacted, just as you hate Clinton, and Carter and Kennedy and every other Democratic President for the things they stood for.

force him to acknowledge his unbridled unrestrained hate.

This talking head is hilarious to listen to. He has done no research so he pulls out all the tricks, talking over,changing subject, ignoring facts. It is an education in how to deflect inquiries.
