Rove is starting to blow it big time
first there was the silly Mars/Moon plan which has now been totally rejected and become nothing but fodder for late night comics. Something Rove is just trying to pretend never existed. then there was the illegal alien amnesty plan which just lost Bush the bigot vote and didn't help him any with anyone else. Then came that SOTU where he looked like a complete fool ranting about steroids.

Keep it up Rove, your good times are coming to an end.

1. We've been to the moon, right?
Why is going back a big deal, when we've got record budget deficits?

11. Yeah just whip out We The People's credit card and have at it *
I mean we've got endless credit, right? And heck, our children and grandchildren won't mind losing everything that makes this country semi-civilized to pay off little dictator's spending spree.

27. That seems to be the deliberate plan
The bigger the deficits, the better. That way, whooooops, there goes welfare, social security, medicare, everything. No more government services. That's the NeoCon PNAC way.

33. Oh, but they'll blame it on Clinton and
his crazy librul spending! Remember; it's due to Reagan that we had those boom times during Clinton's presidency, so naturally, this is all Clinton's fault!

Brought to you by the party of "personal responsibility" . :eyes:

38. The "Clinton Recovery"
why don't our leaders in the Democratic party spin this little recovery we're seeing as the "Clinton Recovery". They could say that the turnaround in the recession is the result of Clinton policies. The right wing nut propaganda machine of Rush and his want-a-bes has puked out the story that the good times under the Big Dog were due to Reagan policies over 20 years old. Obviously, if it takes that long for economic policy to "kick-in", then the little smirking chimp's policy has nothing to do with anything that happens now. Of course, we would have to add that it is the Clinton Recovery, and without the stupid tax cuts, we would actually have high paying jobs accompanying the Clinton Recovery.

Man, could you see the Faux news whores heads exploding if all the DEMS that show up on their little propaganda shows started calling this the "Clinton Recovery"?

The "effing" party of responsibility is only responsible for good things? WTFO. Are people really that stupid?

8. Rove is a MORON. He Always Has Been
He's a ham fisted thug with a limited bag of tricks. Here's what I think of him:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=436436

In summation:

I've never shared the opinion of many that Rove is brilliant. I've always thought he was a low-brow, ham fisted goon with a few obvious moves: Massive full frontal attack, or backstab and bait and switch. He's over rated.

He didn't get the Chimp in by WINNING the election. If he could have done it that way, with smarts and finesse, I would say it was brilliant. To actually successfully sell a defective product takes brilliance. His tactics however, were ruthless thuggery and threats of violence and complete reliance on the Supreme Court. Nothing brilliant there. The Chimps approval ratings skyrocketed because of 9/11, not Rove's brilliance. A brilliant Political strategist would have been able to sustain those numbers. Rove is unable to do that and has NEVER been able to do that. He's a moron and he sucks at his job. He doesn't understand subtlety or nuance or the big picture. He's neither the intellect, the insight or the instincts of a brilliant person. What he does have is vicious ruthlessness in abundance and a propensity to take big risks. That's not brilliant, as a matter of fact, with no sense of moderation, it's quite stupid.

14. Sho 'nuff, yes it's true.
Many others of us think the same thing. He gets away with things and he plays the cheap tactics and relentlessness well, but he's a lightweight. He's not a moron--you're using that rhetorically, I know--but he's like Condoleeza Rice: middlin' brains with an aching need to be considered brilliant. There are smart folks among these fiends, though, such as Cheney and Donnie Darko, but many of the rest of these dicks are no great shakes in the circuitry department.

Keep saying it root boy, fear itself is our greatest enemy.

She was all over the tube before the speech last week.

Whenever W gets into big trouble he runs to mama Karen, but Karen is another hack whose biggest strong point is her unquestionable loyalty to W.

15. Behind the scenes in front of the camera?
Nah, she had her warm, friendly, smiling face all over the cable news several hours before the speech. Her message was basically that the American people can either do the right thing and sign up for four more years or give themselves the royal screwing of a lifetime...and give up all that Dubya has accomplished so far...by voting for a Dem.

The only thing she is behind is the guy in the line in front of her on "All You Can Eat Ribs Night."

As the cliche goes, "She's back...in a big way" (assuming she ever left in the first place). Rove needs help. She's the help.

These thugs went 2 a lot of trouble to steal the WH and they R going 2 Xtreme measures (electronic voting) to steal '04. If the numbers tell them they can't pull off a believable steal, watch out 4 another 'Pearl Harbor-9/11'. It's gonna B a whopper! These rat bastards R not about 2 relinquish power - they spent 8 years plotting how to get the power back and what they were going 2 when they got it back. They R not through their agenda yet!

if they call him that, then obviously he's not much of a genius. if he was a genius, he'd wouldn't be so worried about over-compensating for his obvious inequitudes by shoving his ill-gained power down the throats of the minions.

Combine that with Bush's low expectations and the fawning corporate media, and I'll bet my cat could do just as well as Rove.

Let's remember that even with all the advantages the Bush team had in 2000, they STILL lost.

Rove is no brain.
