The obsession of William Rivers Pitt
Here it is:

"26,000 liters of anthrax, 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin, 1,000,000 pounds of sarin and mustard and VX nerve agent, the 30,000 munitions to deliver this stuff"

Mentioned over and over and over in his Truthout columns -including his latest - and as he so often points out, has never been taken off of the WH website or found in the country of Exxonistan...oops, I mean Iraq.

I even have him recorded on tape repeating all of this in an interview I did with him last summer.

Obsession. Possibly to the point where Will may need to seek help. :)

But this is a good thing.

Meanwhile, how many mainstream pundits are writing about these on a regular basis?

::cricketschirping::

::coyoteshowling::

That's what I thought. They are spineless and gutless as usual. Save, Krugman and Ivins anyway.

My mission in life, when I get back to my columnist job is to get obsessed like Will. Somebody needs to help the poor guy out.

4. When will Will learn?
We'll find the weapons of mass destruction in Syria and Tehran. Oh, and Paris, and maybe Ottawa, just to be on the safe side. And questioning the President is against God's good law. Do you hate God, ya Commie disruptor?

11. used to write for the Arizona Daily Wildcat and am a political
contributor to Red Ink Magazine.

Largely college students and then the magazine is Native Americans.

Half-assed writing a book right now. Two books actually.

25. Red Ink is an American Indian publication
They actually had a good war section in this last issue. I expanded one of my columns into an article about PNAC for them. Not Repubs there that I know of!!

20. Will's mom speaking here so
know that I've checked my objectivism at the door. It is funny that you posted this because I've been thinking about Will lately and how driven he is. I obviously think about Will alot but the particular reason is because I was listening to Dick Cheney on NHPR this morning and he is still talking about WMD with such authority that it really scares me.

There isn't another person you would want to have in the lifeboat. This guy is relentless and I am glad he is on our side. He does not sleep, really, I know this. If he has something to do with respect to the mission he's on, he will not sleep until it's done. It is remarkable to me.

Here's the funny thing: I always knew that I would love my children (my child, since Will is my only one) but I never really thought about admiring them and looking up to them. I don't really know where he got his particular gifts, his political saavy from his dad, I think, his writing ability from his grandfather, I know. His common sense (when he uses it!) from me. But, anyway, I admire him and look up to him...from a bit of a distance...like he's not mine. I find this very strange but wonderful.

Sometimes this guy can be a real brat but if I was checking out lifeboats I know the one I would crawl onto.

Again, I couldn't resist posting here... not an objective view at all but my view. :-)

21. Miss Raven - I Commend You
I do not always agree with your son, but I certainly would be in his lifeboat as well.

I'm glad he's on our side as well and I expect that one day he and all other true patriots (many of whom are on this site) will be vindicated.

I don't always agree with him either but I've got a standing reservation in that lifeboat and, as I like to tell him, a secret room in my house for him when (not if) he needs it!

29. These are the things the Dem candidates should be pointing out
There is so much stuff out there to use against Bush..it's just amazing how our candidates overlook so much. No one comes up with some different zingers...they address the same thing (not that the traditional issues are not important but gads! Can't they hit on some nerve buttons?). For example, increases in crime. Increases in gasoline, food, and housing, and make up taxes for Bush's huge tax cuts to benefit the wealthy...such as increase tolls, increased state user fees, and real cuts in the safety net programs for the elderly that the states run. AND HOW ABOUT THAT TRAFFIC! What is wrong with this country not to be supporting the development of a rapid rail network throughout the contiguous states? Just think how many jobs that would create? How about what is happening to our legal system because of the Patriot Act? Our candidates have to begin to be more visonary.
