DeLay said a Bush better than a Kennedy
THIS SHOWS WHY THE US GOVERNMENT IS SO MESSED UP.

The gall of that bug-exterminating, mother-hating, draft-dodging, hair-dying unctuous turd Tom DeLay is astounding. The sick mind of DeLay implies the unelected moron fronting the BFEE makes more of a military leader than Sen. Ted Kennedy. His rationale? Make the DEMs look weak on national security, even if he has to LIE. Delay quote is courtesy of NYT's Paul Krugman:

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/07/29/opinion/29KRUG.html

DU: KNOW YOUR ENEMY! PEOPLE LIKE DELAY DON'T GIVE A HOOT IN HECK ABOUT AMERICA.

Tom DeLay, the House majority leader, said in a speech last week: "To gauge just how out of touch the Democrat leadership is on the war on terror, just close your eyes and try to imagine Ted Kennedy landing that Navy jet on the deck of that aircraft carrier."

Here's what DeLay and the other chickenhawk arch-criminal conservatives did when it was their turn to serve:

http://www.nhgazette.com/chickenhawks.html

Hey DeLay! Bush is a deserter. Which would you rather follow? BTW, the Kennedy family has done more for America than all the Bushes put together ever will or can. All four of Joseph P. Kennedy's sons served in the uniforms of the US armed forces. Three served in WW2. Joe Jr. died and, for a while, JFK was MIA. RFK was an enlisted man in the USN. For those who don't know, Ted is a veteran of the US Army.

Tom DeLay Bonus Fix:

Tom Delay, chicken extraordinaire

Delay is but one of many prominent right-wingers who love to shriek endlessly about 'patriotism' and 'serving one's country', but do so only when there is absolutely no risk to their own flabby hides. According to an article in the Houston Press:

"Clutching a pole topped by a drooping American flag, 22nd District two-termer Tom DeLay launched into a rather implausible defense of Dan Quayle, an Indiana senator freshly picked by George Bush as his presidential ticket partner...DeLay seemed to feel the issue applied personally to him, and perhaps it did. He had graduated from the University of Houston at the height of the Vietnam conflict in 1970, but chose to enlist in the war on cockroaches, fleas and termites as the owner of an exterminator business, rather than going off to battle against the Vietcong. He and Quayle, DeLay explained to the assembled media in New Orleans, were victims of an unusual phenomenon back in the days of the undeclared Southeast Asian war. So many minority youths had volunteered for the well-paying military positions to escape poverty and the ghetto that there was literally no room for patriotic folks like himself. Satisfied with the pronouncement, which dumbfounded more than a few of his listeners who had lived the sixties, DeLay marched off to the convention. "Who was that idiot?" asked a TV reporter who arrived at the end of the media show. When he was told the name, it drew a blank. DeLay at that time was a national nobody, and his claim that blacks and browns crowded him and other good conservatives out of Vietnam seemed so outlandish and self-serving that no one bothered to file a news report on the congressman's remarks..."

But this was only one of Tommy's excuses...other sources quote him as saying that he did not serve because his wife didn't want him to. It's probably sexist to refer to someone as "henpecked", but it's also irresistible.

1. Like any knowledgeable, living, breathing person would pay
any attention to delay. In fact for one's own survival they would be safe to do just the opposite. How anybody of his low calibre got into national prominence is beyond logic.

I actually feel sorry for the people of his district...what a disgrace they have representing them.

7. The guy is a total loon. But he's a powerful loon.
Agree totally, zidzi. The majority whip is a complete disgrace. I've disparaged all turds everywhere by calling him by that name.

The thing is we need to know what kind of hate he's generating for the kkkonservative mind. Armed with that knowledge, DUers can counter his lies with truth. The purpose: Win the ideology war.

In all seriousness, I thank the Good Lord the puke looks like an angry termite grub. Otherwise even more Murkans might think he had some kind of contact with reality, let alone working critical faculties.

Attorney Tim Riley, an honest Democrat lawyer, ran against him in 2002 and seemed like quite a guy. If more Texans had an idea of what Tom the Lunatic RAIDsniffer was really about, he'd have a better chance. Here's a link:

27. If ya got friends in Houston, let them know.
It is vital that turds like DeLay get the Texas-sized cowboy boot up their pimply and hairy backsides. And don't spare the spurs none, neither.

Thanks to PBS: Tonight I was reminded of when Gore Vidal called William F Buckley Jr a "crypto-fascist" on live TV. Buckley got so mad he cursed Vidal and then threatened to punch him out. And Buckley's supposed to be a Roman Catholic.

Sadly, it's not even crypto-fascism anymore. The extreme rightists are openly hateful toward today's scapegoats, created by the likes of Pruneface Reagan and Lee Atwater, the Liberals. Too bad more didn't speak up and call them what they are, NAZIs.

8. The slug sits atop the House of Representatives.
It's sick. These insect-brains control the three branches of government, lock stock and double-barrel. DeLay is the real power in the puke caucus. And he's proud to be able to put down the Liberal Democrat, Ted Kennedy.

Now, I have been angry about something for most of my life. Specifically, the horrible events that occurred in Dallas on November 22, 1963. It is my belief people very much of the same mindset as that of Tom DeLay are responsible for President Kennedy's murder.

26. Thank YOU, HOWLIN_WOLF! Bookmarked under FAVORITES!
Wow! I thought the Nook of Ecclectic Inquiry had gone off to that Virtual Afterlife up in the Matrix. Thank you so very, very much to link me to some of the great resources. People like those responsible for such archives and repositories make it possible for us to see light at the end of this horrible and dark tunnel.

Bob Graham has tried to shed light, by exposing the truth behind 9-11. John Kerry has, as well. Perhaps our tears of sadness at what has befallen our nation may one day turn to tears of gratitude when an honest and just Attorney General finds and prosecutes the criminals who still profit from the coup d'etat of 40 years ago. There are no statutes of limitations on charges of murder or treason.

5. "landing that Navy jet"????
That unctious imbecile DeLay has totally lost whatever slight contact with reality he ever had. The implication that Howdy Doodoo did anything more than play with his own stick in that plane is beyond laughable.

To DeLay, I say "Send Smirk up for a solo carrier landing, Tom!! Film at 11! You betcha, Bugbrains!" (And get the sponges and hearses ready.)

19. Well, Teddy had experience with planes
He wasn't piloting this plane:

"...N344S, a model 680, serial 448-119 owned by Standard International Corp., of Cincinnati, Ohio, undershot at 22:00 while on approach to Barnes airport, near Southhampton, Massachusetts in IFR conditions on June 19th 1964. Visibility was 2 miles or less, with a ceiling of 800ft., in fog. The commercially rated pilot, with some 10759 total hours, 731 in type, was killed along with another passenger, although Kennedy survived, but with a broken back, along with two other passengers. In the second article, I was able to up-date the information, following receipt of details supplied by "Bear" Ebert, via Jim Crunkleton:

'Southhampton' is located about three miles from Barns Municipal Airport, Westfield, Massachusetts and the Commander crashed due to fuel exhaustion, on approach. I have also looked again at the initial report printed in Lloyd's List and there are one or two discrepancies from the information 'Bear' reports, but I'm sure his version is correct. Such discrepancies are shown in brackets. The owner is reported as Dan Hogan (Daniel Hoga), of Andover, Massachusetts. Pilot was Ed Zimny (Edwin Zimmy), owner and operator of Zimny's Flying Service, of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Four passengers were on board the flight, scheduled from Lawrence Municipal Airport to Barns Municipal Airport, being Senator Edward Kennedy, Senator Birch Bayh and his wife, and Edward Moss, an administrative assistant to Edward Kennedy. Ed Zimny was killed in the accident and Edward Moss died later from his injuries. The aircraft was found with both props feathered and the rotating beacon still operating."

33. The plane ran out of fuel.
Two important points, NewYorkerfromMass:

1. Ted was supposed to be aboard Wellstone's plane for its final flight. The plane was diverted north so that Wellstone could attend the funeral of a friend's father. Kennedy declined and headed back to Massachusetts.

2. Wellstone's late co-pilot was one of the flight school instructors who had a year earlier notified the FAA, the FBI and then the Minnesota Congresscritter (when the federal governmental agencies didn't take action) of one Zaccarias Moussaoui.

28. Reeeeally insidious ideaworm, that.
You're correct, Brian Sweat! Their memes are designed to promote thought in the mind of the listener until their LIE can be imbedded. Everyone knows that Bushler didn't land the plane, so let the listeners' minds continue past that inconvenient fact and stop at why Ted Kennedy can't be seen associating with the military. A most complex smear meme.

On another note of image analysis, some undercover work courtesy of Mr. Danziger:

Ted Kennedy would never land a navy jet on a carrier in order to stage a cheap photo op. Ted Kennedy is not slug of a man and has some idea of what the word shameless means. The chimp on the other hand, is devoid of any sense of decency and tact and just plain reason that he used the military and our tax money to go out and play.
