How accurate is this statement?
How accurate is this statement?

"Clinton perjured himself, suborned perjury, obstructed justice, used the IRS and FBI to attack political enemies, took money from the Chinese military, received millions of dollars from companies controlled by Chinese intelligence agencies and used public employees and public property for fundraising. But yeah, all he did was lie about a blowjob."

While he clearly committed perjury, is the other stuff true, inaccurate, or distorted? Can you give me any books, or better yet, any links?

I'm in an argument with someone.

2. Clinton took money from the Chinese military?.....

4. read...
"The Clinton Wars". I'm only a few chapters into it,so I can't speak on everything you mentioned, but most of the attacks on Clinton were based on nothing and then spun out of control by the RWers. I bet if you look into the issues you mentioned you'll find a lot of RW smoke..and no fire.

6. Clinton did not commit perjury.
The definition of "sex" given to him during the witch hunt, um ... I mean *trial*, did NOT include the actions in which he and Ms Lewinski took part. He answered the question truthfully.

9. Clinton did not committ perjury
because he didn't lie about anything material to the investigation.

Not every lie under oath is perjury. It has to material. This is blackletter law, yet it's frequently misunderstood by the public and simply ignored or lied about by members of Congress and the corporate press- some of whom are lawyers and most of whom damn well know better.

Had Clinton lied about relevant details about Whitewate (or other pending matters) that would have been a different story.

10. OK
I'll try to answer the question as it is without speculating on motive.

Technically he didn't commit perjury, for the reasons stated above. I can understand those who still want to view it as dishonest, perjury in spirit if not in name if such a thing can be said about a legal concept. In defense of him however, it was ludicrous that he ever even was asked the question. It was a completely unfounded witch-hunt.

The rest of those allegations are just mindless prattle as far as I can see. If someone wants to make an accusation I'd say the burden of proof rather lies with them don't you think? If these people you say you are arguing with present anything to back up those claims let me know, I'll do my best to answer them.

Clinton is NOT president!!! Tell "your friend" to get over it.

NOW, let's talk about what a lying, conniving, heartless SOB Bush is. :-)
