What the hell is Asa Hutchinson talking about on Nightline?
Hutchinson is saying something about an alert they had (it sounds like very, very recent).

I checked out LBN and GD - does anyone know what alert he is talking about?

1. new threats
Maybe the new threats that were released today about "intel" saying planes were going to be used again to attack the US...sometime between now and Oct.??
Howcome every time Bush's polls go down, the "terra" threat goes up a notch?

I wondered when they were going to bring that out again. They need to distract the country. Is it Big Orange yet?

5. Chris Fury's final word
It's a matter of trust.

Do we trust the DHS to tell us when alerts should be made?

Do we trust the media to alert us?

6. And all he could say was
"well, we're looking into that arena" "we need to do more" "bla bla bla"

He started stammering really badly when he said something about putting out this warning, and was corrected by the host who said, "you didn't put it out, the media found out about it.." (loose quote)

These morons are so damned transparent.

little hitler in trouble - here comes a warning...

7. Puhleeze.....
This is a set-up. The thugs have released this info to scare the hell out of us, so they can then say "We apprehended 5 ME men in connection w/ the proposed hijacking." Makes them look good, huh?

I don't even believe this BS.

8. Saw some DHS underling on the news
Said that they won't raise to "orange" because it is a threat specific to the airline industry and they have notified the airlines to take extra precautions.

10. Weasel Asa tried to take credit for warning the public.
Drury corrected him and said the media learned of the warning to the airlines, none had been issued to the public from the US Government.

Asa hemmed and hawed and went on to say, (paraphrasing from memory) "Oh, yeah. We warned the airlines and you found out. Great. Good. Terrorists bad."

Asa used more words to smooth it out, but Asa did get flustered when Drury said the government did not warn America. Gee. When did we hear that before?
